1. New product supply: with a stock of over $100 million and a range of custom delivery programs incorporating inventory management storage and international trade our new product supply is second to none.
   
   
2. Consigned storage: goods can be stored until a decision is taken on future use or disposal, or to take advantage of a vendor trade-in programme. Draw-down may involve your own logistics or you can take advantage of our own pan-European distribution network.
   
   
3. Pre-Staging and soak testing: technicians unpack, visually inspect and inventories all components, verify the hardware configuration, load your  designated firmware and install the necessary memory, network modules or line cards into the chassis. After assembly, the unit is powered on and all components are checked.
   
   
4. Asset Tagging: we record equipment serial numbers and customer-specified information and then apply customer labels.
   
   
5. Collection & Box provisioning:  Decommissioned network equipment is collected and transported to a suitable Comstor facility for processing.
   
   
6. Screening: Once returned items are received into our logistics centre, we validate all details before carrying out a technical review. A product may be processed for storage or disposed if obsolete, damaged beyond economical repair or has seased to function properly.
   
   
7. De-Staging: All assets to be disposed of or re-used for another purpaose are purged of any electronic data, using industry standard software to ensure that all data is completly unrecoverable. Each unit for re-use is returned to factory default software, with all passwords removed.
   
   
8. Repair: We can provide a quote for repair by a vendor or third party. Once costs are approved, we ship equipment to the repair facility, track and monitor turnaround, then re-box and label items ready for re-use.
   
   
9. Vendor trade in: if a suitable vendor scheme is available it may be possible to obtain partial credit against new prdoucts by trading-in decommissioned equipment
   
   
10. Disposal & Shredding: once we have obtained authorisation for destruction, we ensure that all applicable laws, including WEEE directive adn RoHS Regulations are complied with. We provide a detailed desccription of the asset, serial number, asset number, any software installed, and issue a disposal certificate.
