Cisco BYOD and “ISE” Hands-on session - November 8th Sweden

Bring Your Own Device Cisco Wireless and “ISE” Hands-on session

Do you know Who and What that’s connected to you network?

BYOD
Every company is faced and challenged by an increasing number of new devices (iPads, iPhones, Android systems, smartphones, tablets, etc.) entering the enterprise. In some cases these new devices are controlled by the company’s IT department, but in an increasing number of cases these are employee’s personal devices that are only partially or not at all IT controlled (“Bring Your Own Device”-approach). Although these devices have a very positive impact on productivity and mobility, they often challenge the company when it comes to current methods of access and security access policy.

How can IT departments get visibility on who is accessing the network from where and with what device (whether IT controlled or non-IT controlled), and which level of access should that person receive? How can the end user get a transparent end user experience, no matter what device you are using and where you are - while still being secure?

WHAT?
In this 1 day technical session, we will explain the key elements of the Cisco Unified Access solution with Cisco’s “ISE”  - a solution that uniquely combines LAN, WLAN, Security and Network Management – to help you address this important BYOD challenge, and allow you to fully leverage the potential of those new devices, in a secure and transparent way.
